Following an extensive renovation in summer 2025, carried out in collaboration with Gathe+Gram, the Grand Penthouse Terrace Suite emerges as a harmonious blend of classic elegance and contemporary comfort. Light, sophisticated color palettes and carefully curated details create an open and tranquil atmosphere, perfectly suited for Nordic as well as international guests seeking the very highest standard of hotel experiences.

Previously named Norway’s Leading Hotel Suite by the World Travel Awards four consecutive years, the suite remains a natural choice for guests who value discretion, uncompromising comfort, and bespoke service at the highest level.

This is a space designed for truly memorable occasions. With dedicated service and utmost discretion, we tailor each experience down to the smallest detail, whether hosting private dinners on the terrace, intimate gatherings, or an unforgettable overnight stay.

Exceptional Comfort

The suite features a generous bedroom with a king-size Jensen bed (210×210 cm), complemented by a walk-in wardrobe, private makeup area, and ample storage. The main bathroom includes a freestanding bathtub, a spacious walk-in shower, and an elegant double vanity. Two additional guest restrooms are conveniently located near the entrance.

Art as an integral part of the experience

Art plays a central role in the Grand Penthouse Terrace Suite. Above the dining area hangs Ulf Nilsen’s painting Anna in the Water Where Destiny Takes Place, setting a refined and atmospheric tone. The collection also includes works by renowned artists such as Lars Elling, Paula Rego, and Nick Brandt, alongside sculptures by Kari Lena Flaaten. Together, these pieces add a distinctive cultural and personal dimension, where contemporary art meets a classic grand hotel experience.

Additional Space & Flexibility

With its 140 sqm interior, the Grand Penthouse Terrace Suite can be expanded with a connected Superior Room (23 sqm), offering a two-bedroom solution for guests seeking additional space and comfort.

For an even more expansive experience, the suite may be combined with the Grand Royal Suite (160 sqm). The entire eighth floor then becomes a private residence totaling 338 sqm of exclusive indoor space, including a 15 sqm corridor and a staff kitchen. Guests will also enjoy access to the Penthouse Suite’s private rooftop terrace of approximately 290 sqm, offering panoramic views over Oslo.
