Following a complete renovation in the summer of 2025, carried out in collaboration with Gathe+Gram, the suite now represents a refined balance between classic elegance and modern comfort. Light, sophisticated tones and carefully selected details create an open and calming atmosphere – tailored to both Nordic and international guests seeking the very best in hospitality.

Art collection
Art is an integral part of the suite experience. Above the dining area hangs Ulf Nilsen’s Anna in the water where destiny takes place, providing a striking focal point. The collection also includes works by renowned artists such as Lars Elling, Paula Rego, and Nick Brandt, alongside sculptures by Kari Lena Flåten. Together, these pieces lend the suite a cultural dimension where contemporary art meets the timeless tradition of Grand Hotel.

Flexible Layout
At 154 sqm, the Grand Penthouse Terrace Suite can be expanded with a connecting Superior Room (18 sqm), creating a two-bedroom layout with additional space and comfort.
For an even more generous solution, the suite can be combined with the Grand Royal Suite (145 sqm). In this configuration, the entire eighth floor is reserved as one private residence, offering 345 sqm of exclusive indoor space, and a 16 sqm connecting hallway and staff kitchen. Guests also enjoy access to the Penthouse’s private rooftop terrace of approximately 290 sqm, with panoramic views over Oslo.
