Design & atmosphere

Upgraded in 2025 in collaboration with the interior architects at Gathe+Gram, the suite features a refined modern-classic style. A bespoke Arabescato marble fireplace mantle forms the focal point of the living room, complemented by Versailles flooring and custom-designed furniture. A sculptural bar with integrated facilities adds both practicality and a discreet sense of sophistication.


Art collection

The suite is home to a collection of artworks that lend it both character and depth. Photography by Nick Brandt, sculptures by Kari Lena Flaaten, and works by Paula Rego and Elisabeth Werp create a distinctive cultural atmosphere throughout the space.

The Grand Royal Suite measures 145 sqm and can be extended with a connecting Superior Room (18 sqm), resulting in a two-bedroom layout that provides both space and flexibility.


For guests seeking an even larger arrangement, the suite can be combined with the Grand Penthouse Terrace Suite (154 sqm). Together, this creates an exclusive private residence encompassing the entire eighth floor, with 345 sqm of indoor space, a 16 sqm connecting hallway, and a staff kitchen. The configuration also grants access to the Penthouse’s private rooftop terrace of approximately 290 sqm – one of Oslo’s most remarkable vantage points.
