Grand Hotel introduces "Regional Specialities" on the menu.
Many may wonder what the local food is, right in Oslo? Is it Akerselva trout, or maybe rabbit from the Old Town?

No, we can probably not rely that on us. As a hotel in the heart of the capital and the nearest neighbor to the Parliament, it is natural that we collect local food from the entire country. On our menus you will, among other things, find wild salmon from Borealis Gourmet in Alta and the stunning Lofoten Lamb, who has grass all the way from the shores of plain at 600 meters altitude on the mountain. This meat you can find nothing to match!

Did you know that there is a rapidly growing trend in Norway today for beers from local micro-brewery? The Grand Café, you can now enjoy an IPA (India Pale Ale) from Ægir brewery Flood or Nøgne Ø in Grimstad. Or how about a real Norwegian Stout?

During autumn and winter we will offer a wide selection of dishes both in the Grand Café, in our banquet department, as in our other restaurants and bars in the hotel.
